It was bustling with customers, but despite the crowd, the tapas came hot, fast and tasty. The staff were very helpful in making our food choices, and their recommendations, especially the tempura king prawns were spot on! It overlooks the marina and is next to all the boutique shops and whale watching boats.
What a find! Shared plates that at $10 each are very generous. We had 5 shared plates between 2 of us for dinner and each one was delicious. Wine by the glass very reasonable too. Beautiful view looking over the harbour. Food and service could not have been better.
Pleasant bar with a good selection of reasonably priced drinks, nice atmosphere for a get together with friends in an excellent location. We ordered the lamb skewers which were totally void of any flavour, and a plate of duck rolls which were also very bland except for the dipping sauce. Would certainly go there again for drinks........for tappas, probably not.
Visited as a family group of 7 for lunch recently. Was given a pleasant and happy greeting by staff member who explained the menu and how to order. Service was lacking at times, needed to keep asking for water and the cutlery wasnt set for right number of diners. One diner was disappointed that two of their chooses were not available but overall we were very happy with the tapas. Good food presentation and right temperature. Everyone left sated and happy with their food and drinks.Would recommend The Dock and will dine there next time in the area.
Went here for lunch with my parents and had a great meal with lovely friendly service. The food is tapas style and reasonably priced for all budgets. If you are ever in Hervey Bay or going on a whale watch check this establishment out you will not be disappointed.
