Hill Afb Commissary - Utah

I've been shopping at this commissary for years. I agree, that it is a well kept, clean facility with a very friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint (other than being understocked at times, which is usually bad shopping timing on my part) is that I have found outdated items on numerous occasions. They have a wide variety of foods that I cannot find at other grocery stores. Very clean and organized.

The commissary lacks depth in products. Savings amounts to sale prices at Smith's and other discount grocery stores. You don't pay sales tax on food.

Nice grocery store. Friendly staff and good disinfecting to keep away germs. One thing that makes me a bit mad is that I am a minor and I went there with my mother, the lady asked if I had an ID, which I left at home. We told her I was here with my mother and wouldn't be buying anything. The lady was unreasonable and wouldn't let me inside the building, so I had to wait in the car for an hour while my mom shopped. This place is overall nice but make sure you got your ID.

Pretty nice commissary, all things considered. Most people tend to use the self check out, even though they have open cashiers most of the time. Perhaps they should install more self check out lanes? Also, I think people are hesitant to buy a few items and feel like they need to tip the baggers. The deli is pretty small, and so is the bakery.
