Javier's Authentic Mexican Food - Utah

The place is nice and the staff are wonderful. The food comes out super fast so not a whole lot of waiting. I had ordered a chimichanga, my wife got a beef taco and my 8 year old got a taco salad. The chimi was just ok. Most everything was on top and the shell was very soft. The Taco was good but boring. My daughter's taco salad was great but she didn't like it. Items seem to always be missing whenever I get food here

We have always enjoyed Javier's and the staff are fabulous. But prices have increased so much. $3.99 for a soda. $1.99 for a second small basket of chips and it was $54.00 for a quick lunch for 2. (I had a boring chimichanga and hubby had cheese enchiladas on lunch special).

Holy cow what a rip off the rip off. Smallest portion size of seen in the last 5 years. Made the mistake of getting take out, they give you nothing and charge extreme amount of money for it. Not worth it do not waste your time or your money. I would have left 0 stars if possible. They even charge extra for simple ground beef.

I don't go back to many places. I've been going to one or the other of Javier's places since around 2001. I think they're wonderful and one of my favorite places.
