Karroo Sandwich - Utah

June 2022 First visit today. Great service and friendly staff. Got a turkey sandwich and a pastrami sandwich, both were FANTASTIC!! A new GO-TO spot for my wife and I. 8/15/22 Once again- FANTASTIC!!!! Pastrami n Swiss.

Very good sandwich shop. I forgot to ask for my sandwich toasted. A little expensive, but very large portion size, along with chips and a pickle. It takes a minute for them to make it, but it appears to be because they are putting a lot of work into each one. It was a work of art and very good. One of the prettiest sandwiches I have had in a long time too.

The sandwiches and chocolate cake are good! The food safety, not so much. I placed my order. The guy was dealing with money in the back. The cashier said “order up” and he went over and started on my order. He didn't have the time to wash his hands nor did I hear the water needed to do so. Also I know for 100% the guy who made my order was the owner. His name is Ed.

When a sandwich shop has flower wallpaper, plastic chairs, a white board for specials and a paper menu, you know the sandwich is gonna be top notch. This did not disappoint. Sandwich, chips and a pickle for less than $10? Yes, please. The bread was beyond soft. They don’t overcomplicate the sandwich, just simple goodness. This place is a beacon of hope in a sea of mediocre and overpriced fast casual restaurants right now. The cashier/waitress was also so nice and helpful.

I used to love this place, but since the new ownership it's been slow getting your order. I also got my sandwich with missing items and it was dry as a bone, no mayo, mustard or anything.
