Lucca Italian Chophouse - Utica

I had a wonderful lunch, but I was disappointed with the presentation. My pasta was served in a small bowl, which didn't quite meet my expectations.

We decided to go to lucca on a Saturday evening with some friends. we have made the reservations about 10 o'clock Saturday morning. no problem, but the reservation was for 4:45 clock. on the way to the restaurant we ran into a traffic accident and were at least 20 minutes too late. I called luccas and they said "not a problem". we are here and they immediately showed us on a table. this was our first visit to lucca and we had heard mixed reviews. our experience was pretty. they brought our drinks quickly. the waitress was very human. the food was delicious! the parts were ugly. everyone enjoyed their meal. the only negatiw I can say that the acute was not great. we were last standing on the left side. it was very private, but noisy. Maybe the people in the previous were just loud. I'm a bit of hearing-damaged and environs affect my understanding. as always we enjoyed our dinner. try the espresso martini — it is to die for!

Our server, Heather, was very good. The salads were good. Bread good but chewy. The deserts were good but over priced. The main courses mixed. I ordered the carbonara and it turned out to be spaghetti and cheese sauce. My husbands dinner, the cheese ravioli was good.
