Skoog's Pub Grill - Utica

Very relaxed, relaxing atmosphere, great place to stop have some excellent food and watch a cubs game. Actually, the bartender saw people serve what they wanted before they asked.

The food was absolutely amazing! But our waitress was almost unexistent. Surely she brought our food and only filled our drinks when we asked. She never came to our table to ask where our food was or if we needed anything else. When we finished, she hit the bill on the table and went away to talk to another table she obviously knew. Great food, but unfriendly waiter, unless they know you.

It was years ago, but I came home for my middle travel holiday from Afghanistan and that was my first meal and birthday meal. Have never found wings elsewhere that compare with skoogs.

Great food and service. and if you are lucky to get an outdoor table, you can watch the world over.

We found this place on a Sunday when recent flooding limited access to Starved Rock state park and we decided to change check out the rest of the area. We enjoyed some of the best chicken wings ever!! Highly recommend this clean, friendly bar and checking out the rest of the area too!!
