This is my favorite restaurant. The food is always cooked to perfection, with a menu that offers interesting twists on classic dishes using local ingredients. The wine list is extensive, featuring high-quality wines and a large selection of beers. The interior is beautifully decorated, and the enclosed garden provides a relaxing space to enjoy a meal. The staff is always friendly and attentive, providing great recommendations for food. My family has visited for brunch, coffee, quick drinks, lunch, and dinner, and we couldn't recommend it more highly. You have to try it!
We had an amazing time celebrating my wife's birthday (as we always do) at this restaurant. The service was very attentive and the food was beautifully presented.
Very good food, but disappointed by the service and recruitment of staff will not return
We had a very good experience with the Travelzoo offer at this modernized pub/restaurant that still maintains the old charm of the building. The spinach stack starter was delicious, although we both found it to be a bit gritty. I even had a large piece of grit or a small stone in mine, but it was not addressed when I brought it to the staff's attention. We were surprised to see a £2 supplement for the sea bass on the bill, as we were only informed about steak supplements when ordering. On a positive note, we appreciated that dogs were allowed in the bar area, which was just as lovely as the main dining area. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch despite these minor issues.
