Los Compadres Mexican - Valdese

I have been to this restaurant approximately 10x since I've found it. I have probably tried just about as many different dishes. Every experience has been fabulous and the food always awesome.

Overpriced and average food compared to so many other restaurants. Called in a Geovannys Wrap $12 . i asked to get rice instead of French fries, I’m told there is a $2 up charge. Cause who wants French fries when they order Mexican? okay whatever. Get there, and tip the girl $2. My total is some $16. There is a sign at the cashier that clearly states they do not replace to-go orders if they are wrong? Which is just absolutely insane, if it’s wrong- it’s wrong! Fix it! Get home and it’s a wrap and FRENCH FRIES haha! Like of course. So I paid $16 for a measly little burrito, I don’t eat fries so they went in the trash. Over priced and I just think it’s wrong to say they’re not going to correct someone’s order when it’s obviously wrong after you walk out the door with the food. Also their margaritas taste like sugar water.

My family stopped at Los Compadres to eat dinner and the food was awful to say the least. The chicken burritos we ordered were with huge pieces of dry chicken and nothing else, no vegetables, rice or beans. They didn't put any condiments or seasonings and the cheese was liquid. It had no flavor, I mean zero and it tasted like it was old. The rice and chicken and quesadillas were the same, unflavored and dry. We are from California and we have some of the best Mexican restaurants and we know what Mexican food should taste like. After we ate the food my whole Family had a stomachache and felt sick for the next 2 days. We paid for this garbage a $100. I wouldn't come back to Los Compadres if they were giving free food.

First time eating at los compadres in valdese.Service was excellent and so was the foodWife and I both had the burritos.Will be back again tomorrow try more of the menu

Great spot for some authentic Mexican food and drinks. Really fun vibe and nice outdoor seating.
