I had a delicious vegan dinner of Dal Saag and Channa Masala. This restaurant offers a great new option for limited selections along Interstate 75.
I attempted to order the gobi Manchurian, but the manager or owner informed me that they had no Manchurian dishes available. I then tried to order bindhi masala, but they were out of okra. When I inquired about rotis, I was told they hadn't served them in years. The owner suggested aubergine bharta instead. When I asked about achar, I was told they didn't have it, which I found odd. I mentioned that all of these dishes were listed on their online menu. Ultimately, the owner suggested I call Passage to India instead, which I decided to do.
I attempted to order the Gobi Manchuria for take-out, but the manager or owner informed me that they did not have anything Manchurian. I then tried to order Bindhi Masala, but they were out of okra. When I inquired about rotis, I was told they hadn't been available for years. However, they did have Eggplant Bharta. Unfortunately, they did not have any Achar (pickles). It was quite comical, reminiscent of the cheese shop sketch from Monty Python. I mentioned that all these dishes were listed on their online menu. Eventually, they suggested I call Passage 2 India, which I ended up doing.
