Three of us ordered the Roast Sirloin of Beef with Red Wine Jus and Seasonal Vegetables. The meat was thinly sliced and the Yorkshire puddings were thick and doughy, and both arrived cold on cold plates. The Red Wine Jus was watery and tasteless. The Seasonal Vegetables were also not warm, but were cooked well. The fourth dish ordered was Pan-seared Halibut served with vegetable pearl barley, sliced potato cake, and lemon, dill caper butter. Despite being slightly cold, my wife enjoyed the delicious fish. For dessert, three of us ordered the Banana Sticky Toffee Pudding with Butterscotch sauce and Vanilla ice cream. The pudding resembled a thick biscuit with a scoop of ice cream on top, lacking any Butterscotch sauce. It was clear that the restaurant's management should consider the quality and quantity of their offerings to match the promising menu and price range. I would definitely read reviews before considering a return visit.
This restaurant is a great spot to try authentic English fish and chips. The portions are generous and are priced well. I would have given it 5 stars if the food wasn't so greasy. Overall, not bad for the price.
Nice quiet location and eating was good. to the breakfast. would definitely go back to try more of meeresfruit. best place for introverts, better then dieucks if they want to order food and be left alone. definitiw no fast eating. they took the time to put food on the table, but I don't complain when it tastes fresh and good.
Cozy little breakfast place near our house, we ordered eggs with veggie and fish and chips cloged. I loved the coffee. fish not so much. beautiful place for weekend tomorrow
