The sandwiches here are incredibly tasty and made fresh to order. I also highly recommend trying their delicious omelettes. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making for a pleasant dining experience.
A nice little Cafe (Diner) situated on the main street. Great tasty food, good portions, quick, efficient and helpful service plus competitive pricing they ticked all of my boxes. Gold star recommendation. Why did they lose 1 point? ..... Well, like most Cafes or Sandwich Bars, nothing was provided to deposit your used teabags and ketchup sachets in or on (see my pic bottom right). This inevitably can leave the table looking a bit of a tip during your visit. Very easy to keep the customers' table tidy simply provide them with a saucer, side plate or a small bowl for their soggy rubbish job done. We’ll definitely be going back however
A wide range of sandwiches and hot meals. Seating is limited but most customers want to take away. Good for breakfast and lunch. The sandwich bar serves the residents and business community in Faringdon. It will do sandwich platters for business meetings.
I had a chicken tikka and salad granary bap from Phillers for my lunch. It was really fresh and tasty. Thoroughly recommended.
We decided to stop by for a quick sandwich, but ended up staying for three hours chatting with the other customers and the staff. I really enjoyed the creative menu with sandwich names like ‘Boy George’, ‘Pavarotti’, and ‘Lorraine Kelly’. I opted for the ‘Holly Golightly’ which was packed with bacon, chicken, and avocado on the freshest bread, and was very generously sized. My wife went for a toasted sandwich with cheese and tomato, which she enjoyed. I noticed there was also a sandwich called ‘Mr. T’ on the menu. Did you know that George Peppard was the male lead opposite Audrey Hepburn in ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ and also the leader of ‘The A Team’ with Mr. T? I was half expecting the seasoning on my sandwich to be ‘salt and Peppard’, but it wasn’t.
