Good and service were awful. Both me and the other person have been unwell since eating food at station garden
Lovely local pub, come here on a regular basis for lunch. Usually go basic with a tuna baguette but would definitely like to see a brunch! Overall we always have a fab visit food is what you can expect but the staff are great
This is our local . the food went downhill then got a lot better , had a decent dinner on christmas eve , went in on Friday , run out of fish but split one into two and we paid £9.50 for what was basically batter and rock solid : absolutely no good at all . My steak was rubbish , small xx over seasoned and well done cremated i asked for medium rare .. the only okay meal was a club sandwich.: it took 1 hour 45 mins : the dough balls were under cooked hardly any garlic .. very very dissatisfied.. we like the staff but we will not be eating there until it gets improved my steak was taken off the bill
Cold and no atmosphere at all considering it was two days before Christmas or any effort made whatsoever from the staff, we opted for the festive menu and I can honestly say its the worse christmas meal ever! In hindsight we should have refused the starter paid for our drinks and left, cheesy mushroom to start which just consisted of two bits of bread with runny cheese over and a few mushrooms (tinned I believe) scattered round the plate and yes it tasted as horrible as it looked, we hoped the main course would be better but alas it wasn't to be, on the plate was a couple of bits of sliced turkey some green veg and roast potatoes that had come straight out the freezer, no stuffing and no yorkshire pudding, it was bland and tasteless, one of our group who is vegitarian asked for mac'n'cheese only for it to be served with a topping of pigs in blanket, needless to say once the correct order finally came out the rest of us had finished and no there were no empty plates, we didn't stay for dessert. The place wasn't even busy so there was no excuse, the £20 deposit wasn't deducted from the meal either, so all in all not a happy experience and one I would rather forget.
