Lucky House Restaurant - Valemount

We had the chance to stop here, very nice woman inside, food very good and pay attention to portions...really big:-) great shrimps with vegetables, chicken curry and rice, noodles. If you pass around just have a lunch here!

There are not many restaurants in Valemount but if you like Chinese food this is the place to go. We dropped in at 8 pm and the place was full with reserved tables for incoming large groups. Even though we we only two people the hostess/server/owner pulled a table from a large table setting and gave us our own spot. The meal was served quickly and hot. Big portions in our combo plates and we were stuffed when we left. Lots of meat in each dish. Good luck getting a table in the summer months.

We went to Valemount as our first stop of Rocky Mountain trip.We stayed at Alpine Inn ,it's a nice Inn.After settled,we went out for dinner,we were tired after a long drive.Wish to have some good Chinese food.We found this restaurant,the name is pretty nice,we thought it would be ''lucky'' to enjoy some delicious food.The lady owner wasn't friendly,she kept us waiting and used a dirty cloth to clean our table,after that,the table was still greasy.She ignored us (I guess it's because of ~just my mom and me,not many customers)She just took care of the big table customers,and treated us like we did not exist.No glass of water,no attention,and it wasn't because of she's busy,there weren't many customers around though.I didn't feel respected,so we left peacefully.

Ordered only vegetables with rice- off meat and DEEE licious. Partner had the chicken fried rice- not greasy, fresh, light You will ask yourself, "how is this possible?" Enjoy.

We waited around 40 minutes for the first soup and the 3 other soups came 20 minutes later. My dad had to eat his before it got cold. Secondly the mail dish had nothing to it and tasted boring. On top of it all it was expensive... Not a pleasent visit, sadly!
