This place, which is slightly above the average in terms of price scale, offers the opportunity to dine on the beach with a unique view. Our choice was again Arroz Negro €17/per person) in the venue, which is especially good about Paella. Alioli €2.2), our favorite by-product, is pretty well done here. Let's come to our criticism after years: We have never come across such a bad service and staff at the venue as it was this year. We had difficulty in ordering, we encountered wrong service practices, the wines we did not order were written to our account and the most disturbing issue was the 3rd class service quality attitude of the waiter who took care of us. We decided to put a distance between us and this restaurant for a while.
The best first: The location is simply stunning and the staff has great patience with children. The food was very good. The not so good: The staff is trying but severely understaffed and not very customer oriented. The coffee is very bitter. And apparently it is very popular with parties which coupled with the acoustics can create a very loud environment. We had 2 weddings and a first communion at the same time and the noise was deafening. So all in all, if you time your visit on a weekday it should be a nice experience, avoid fiestas...
We were not very hungry and wanted to share 1 starter and also 1 main course...very common in Valencia right? It already started with the water ... 1 liter of water was immediately put away while just 1 water was ordered. This was exchanged on request for a 0.5 liter of water. Then the appetizer came with 2 plates ... neat because we would share it ... however, the bill showed that 2x a starter was charged. The main course, paella, was also charged twice on the bill while we had expressly asked to share 1 portion... The service gave the impression that they did not speak English, but we had the strong impression that this was drama. What an annoying restaurant this was and then have to pay about 60 euros for so little food/lunch....really absurd, don't go here!
