Located on Plaça Redona that was built in 1840 and fully renovated in 2012 and now it houses many bars/restaurants and shop's and is an amazing site to visit. El Lleón is an historic tapas bar which was first established in 1913.This bar has a very compact well kept interior with some really interesting fixtures and features and great seating options on the main square. We visited in the afternoon and it was very busy when we visited. When we visited here we had a Mahou Cervecería Clásica a fine Spanish beer which were served iced cold and surprisingly well priced. El Lleón is well worth visiting and very easy to find from Plaça de la Reina bus stop it's a short walk.(This is my first review of the El Lleón bar). Opening Hours. Monday-Thursday11.30-23.00. Friday-Saturday-11.30-23.30. Sunday-11.30-23.00. Public Transport. Bus Stop. Plaça de la Reina bus stop.
Very very unfriendly service....we wanted to order food, but the service was not interested at all....20 min waiting for drinks, after 40 min we stood up as still not done the order
We were seated right away and our drinks came quick enough but our food never came until we had to remind them twice. People who came after us were getting their food. Not all of our orders came out. We were so disgusted we paid what food was served and left.
Lugar perfecto para picoteo, tapas ricas con una buena relación calidad/precio. El interior es pequeño con pocas mesas, pero acogedor y en seguida tratan de hacer hueco.
Buen servicio a pesar de estar lleno y las tapas muy buenas
