Los Arquitos - Vallejo

This is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants in vallejo. I've been eating for 12 years and they're never disappointed.

The food is authentic. Place is family owned, we've been going there for years and they continue to offer delicious food and great service. Only down side is parking can be sparse. Plan ahead for that. Also, they are closed Monday, Tuesdays. I ordered the chicken fajitas this time and didn't disappoint.

Best Menudo in the world!! (So far on my list) Comes with fresh hand made tortillas and all the fixing you need. Great staff and cozy atmosphere. Too bad they dont have a parking lot though so good luck finding a quick spot near by. They have a bunch of other traditional mexican dishes including costillas con nopal which is also the bomb. It isn't the most charming building in the neighborhood. But the food will speak for its self. And they sell beer

The lady who took my order handles cash and food without washing her hands, I ordered ground beef enchiladas the ground beef was mush the sauce was extra old and thick. It was so awful only could eat 1 (one) bite.

Didn't like the Menudo it smelled too much. I couldn't eat it. Sorry but my mom's menudo never smelled like that.
