Lucky Garden - Vallejo

Ever since one of our favorite Chinese restaurants closed down, nothing has ever compared until we tried Lucky Garden! I have been wanting to try this place for awhile, but we don't go out much and rely on food delivery apps. When we found out that the owner was the original cook from our old favorite place, we just had to go. We ordered our entrees to go off menu posted on yelp. Be advised the prices are not up to date the pictures of the menu are a little dated. Many of the entrees are still current. Just ask when you call! We had the salt and pepper pork tenderloin, bokchoy with mushroom, beef with Chinese broccoli, and crispy flounder with garlic and onion (you can't get this anywhere else I've looked). Everything was so good!! The inside of the restaurant is very clean. I think we've found our new favorite place. I didn't think to take pictures of our dinner. Everything smelled so good in the car and in the house, we just started eating!!

News year's eav 2023 had to be buzz in, this is kind of weird never had to buzz to get in to get into a restaurant, once inside restaurant is ice cold no heat ,waiter no smile, seem like eve ryone on edge .OK now to the food the good, good prawns good chow main and good fried rice.the bad don't order anything with sausage in it,sausage has a old funky taste potstickers, wanton, don't order anything with chicken in it ,chicken has frozen taste too it.this restaurant is rated 4.5 on yelp also was told when I came in that every thing on the menu was a extra dollar which is strange! That pushes every thing to around 15.00 to 17.00 per dish. DON'T BELIEVE MENU PRICES THIS IS BATE AND SWICH PLACE .found out somebody shot and killed a old man just across the street that's why everyone on edge. I can't recommend this place, vallejo is not a safe place I can't believe how much vallejo has has gone down hill so sorry. 4 dishes ,soda 75.00

Food is great, portions are big and service is great. They're super quick too. I had a pick up order but I had a fussy newborn in the car and the host came out to my car to give me my food. I'm sure most moms can appreciate that! I know I sure did! They're really the best!

This was my first visit, and I decided to go based on some positive reviews. The restaurant was clean, but it made me a bit uneasy that our server had to let us in and lock the doors. The prices for the food were quite high! While the food was good, I prefer places that offer lunch specials, but we arrived eight minutes late, and the waitress told us the lunch specials had ended. What a disappointment! This will be my first and last visit. I think I’ll stick with Szechuan Chinese in Vallejo, where they have lunch specials until 3:30 p.m.

Absolutely amazing! I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family!
