Rubio's Coastal Grill - Vallejo

Excellent location with plenty of parking available. The food was outstanding, just like always. The staff were extremely friendly, and the restrooms were very clean. Plus, they now have cauliflower on the menu!

As always, the food was delicious! One of my top recommendations from the menu is the Fish Taco Especial. They serve a generous portion, starting with two tacos. These tacos are very similar to the original ones from Ensenada, B.C., Mexico. It's definitely worth the trip from Richmond just to enjoy them for lunch!

The food at this restaurant is not only delightful but also healthy. I ordered the steak cheese chimichanga, which was accompanied by chips, guacamole, and sour cream. It was so fresh that it was still warm when it arrived. Plus, if you encounter any issues, the staff is quick to resolve them. However, be prepared for a bustling atmosphere, especially on Fridays!

I like Rubio for lunch. The food Guacamole always tastes fresh. The shrimp tacos, burritos and chicken taquitos are my walk to menu items.

The tables were sticky. The seats had food on them. The floors were dirty. Some fountain drinks didn't have nozzles, so I got sprayed by sticky drinks. The food was decent, and the servers were quick at getting our food out.
