The Café - Valley Center

One of the worst culinary experiences ever! We only showed up at 9:30 to say they were closed at 10:00, so if we wanted to eat, we would have to order immediately. The usual closing time is 11pm, which was published online and on site. They do not go through and they are the only restaurant that is open late at the casino. We set ourselves fast and ordered within a few minutes. After about 15 to 20 minutes we finally got our food just to say that the dining area was closed and we had to in 10 minutes. We quickly ate our food only unsatisfied with taste and quality. The turkey, avocado and bacon sandwich had a really hard avocado that came in a big lump in the middle of my sandwich. The bacon was very soggy and the turkey was just regular deli turkey making the sandwich extra salty. The Pommes were soggy on all plates. The burger was very fat and boiled over, while also lack of taste. The fish and chips were very simple and not seasonal. The Koleslawin wasn't great either. Customer service and food are not worth the trip or money.

We came for a late lunch. I sat right away. Hubby ordered ruben sandwich while I ordered garlic shrimp pasta. Food was surprisingly delicious, generous portions and service was good

I really wanted to get Casino Steak and Eggs, so I took my dad here. I ordered the steak n eggs (8 oz NY Steak, Hash Browns, 2 eggs over easy and a piece of bread). My father got Salisbury Steak (Burger Patty, Potatoes, Zucchini, Carrots, Mushroom Gravy Cream). Both were super good and we destroyed everything!

8/2/2022 3 stars I give additional star coz no problem at our last visit, not sure if they still calculate when order goes. 4/14/2021 2 stars Finally we can order, but they calculate, add 1 star on this. Only came back, but still low on Star Coz, politics still the same, but food is good. Fixed a picture for more information . We will continue to try on the next visit, then will add more star when they earn it.. I tried to eat here again, and I ask if they change their policy to go to box, they said the same, Big NO for take out, so we decided to ate in Chinese food next door. Will try to visit again, hopefully their political change in the near future. 2018 1 star You can not order to go but you can immerse and after you are able to go. Hate it.

Loved the fries here, seasoned very well. I ordered the shirmp fish plate, which was served hot fresh. Both was delicious but I loved the shrimp better than the fish. Hubby got the meatloaf but he didnt care for it...he thought it would be more homemade but instead if was like processed food. Service was great too, nice friendly staff working on a busy Friday night...never had our drinks empty, also checkin on us to see if we needed anything.
