Gold Fountain Restaurant - Valleyview

The portions are generous. The food is fresh and not greasy. The buffet selection is good with many options to choose from. My only wish is that they would stay open later, as I always have a late-night craving for Chinese food!

I had the Szechuan Noodles and Kung Pao Chicken at this restaurant! They were spicy as the menu described, but not too intense. The food was delicious with generous portions perfect for sharing, and the prices were reasonable.

Some items are pretty good. I had a great chicken burger for like $4 and when i invited others it went from real chicken to that fake sliced stuff. When asked what happened to the chicken i had just had, the owner said sometimes its this and sometimes that. That was last time they went there. So sometimes its good and tasty and sometimes its changed and crappy. Within the same day. There is not much eatable in the buffet either. Last time the waitress never came so I left and went elsewhere. It use to be great.

The restaurant is run-down and the food is unappetizing. They served my daughter a half-cooked chicken sandwich. The lunch buffet is not worth trying. For Chinese cuisine, look elsewhere. The service is also poor.
