Blockhead - Valparaiso

I was really pleasantly surprised by this spot! So many vegan options and things that could be made vegan, really well labeled, and considering that it was a brewery, I was very excited to see something that wasn’t just a burger. I ate a great udon noodle dish with fried tofu and the garden sushi roll. I also had a rose hibiscus mocktail that was really refreshing. This was well worth a pit stop and would satisfy lots of different dietary needs.

The food, atmosphere, and service were incredible. And! They were accommodating to our young kiddos, which was unexpected and wonderful. Would definitely recommend for a date night or young family, they are amazing

Busy place. Had to wait and it was 3 in the afternoon. Worth it though. Food was outstanding and the beer flight was good. I would recommend and will return.

Been here take-out now a few years. Never been disappointed. Very unique drinks. Sushi is beyond phenomenal.

We went to Blockheads with a group of 15 for my husband’s birthday! We knew they did not take reservations, so we just put in for two tables. We got drinks at the bar and then went to the heated patio to wait. We decided to ask if we could just eat out there instead of having the two tables inside. They manager agreed and we had the best service ever!! The food and drinks were spectacular! Even with a group of 15, no one had to ever wait on drinks, and all the food came out super quick!! The service team and management went above and beyond to make my husband’s birthday so special, and we cannot thank them enough!! We will be back!
