Main+lincoln - Valparaiso

We were there with a group of friends and everyone had a different dish, but all became delicious. our waitress was excellent, very pleasant and attentive. the atmosphere was friendly and relaxing.

The food was fresh and nicely presented. Salads very good.

My partner and I were extremely disappointed with Main and Lincoln. We went there with eight of our friends to celebrate our birthday, but the experience was far from enjoyable. The service was poor, and I found the food so unappetizing that I couldn't even finish it. We had to keep asking for more water, and when our meals arrived, they barely resembled what was described on the menu. I don't mind paying a premium for great food, but the taste simply didn't justify the prices. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

The service at this restaurant is always impeccable, but I had to wait 45 minutes for a drink after making a reservation, despite the fact that my table was empty. The bar service is consistently poor, and it took an hour for the food to arrive. The waitstaff are very kind, but there seems to be a serious issue with the overall service here. This isn't the first time I've been disappointed by the service, and while I'm willing to give it another shot, my experiences have been increasingly disappointing.

Main and Lincoln is well-regarded for its excellent food, but the service is notoriously slow in Valparaiso. On a Tuesday night, there were only four tables occupied, including ours, with no large parties present. Despite this, we found ourselves waiting a long time for the staff's attention. It was quiet, but we still waited 20 minutes for our wine and an additional 40 minutes for our meals. We dine out frequently and would consider returning to Main and Lincoln more often if it weren't for the frustratingly slow service.
