Cherhana - Vama Veche

Super leckerer frischer Fisch der auf einer interessanten heißen Platte gegrillt wird. Dazu gab es leckeres gegrilltes Gemüse. Das Restaurant ist sehr einfach gehalten aber trotzdem schön und man hat eine tolle Aussicht aufs Meer! Sehr zu empfehlen.

The sea food was awesome, but we were a bit taken a bit aback by the too sharp and less aromatic garlic they served (chinese product?). The selection of wines was meager and expensive. We also had the feeling that the young service tried to talk us into going for the most expensive choices of fish and wine. Still, I'd recommend going there if you're in Vama Veche and want to eat good fish.

If you want to eat just grilled fish with bread and garlic sauce that's the perfect place to go. But that's it. No side dishes than some grilled veggies, not even polenta. No other way to prepare the fish than on the grill.

We bezochten Cherhana voor een lunch, samen met onze twee kindjes. Heel druk, maar enorm vlotte en snelle bediening. De menukaart bestaat enkel in het roemeens. Ze hebben ons goed geholpen met de menukaart en we hebben gewoon hun suggesties gevolgd. Achteraf geen flauw idee welke vis we hebben gegeten maar het heeft ons wel gesmaakt. De bijbestelde groentjes waren soms iets te zwart geblakerd.

Don't go there for amazing cleanliness or excellent service. But do go for delicious fresh fish, a great view and the authentic Vama experience!
