Tony Snack Shop - Van Nuys

As always, Servers/staff were great. Appetizers were a little delayed in arriving. Some of the food was stand-out (Brussels sprouts, filet mignon) others not quite as good (Caesar salad was tasty but WAY over-dressed and pasta with shrimp was flavorless with undercooked pasta (we’re fans of Al dente, but this wasn’t cooked enough to be called al dente). DJ’d music was great until the belly-dancer arrived, and although she was lovely, the music was over-loud and under appreciated for the length of time it continued. Highly recommend turning down the belly-dancing music at LEAST a degree during her lengthy performance.

The surf and turf was delicious. The meat was so tender and succulent. The service was excellent! The waiter Alex answered all my husbands questions with no problem, he was so great! They have great drink menu and selection!

I just love the whole idea of this restaurant which converted its driveway and parking onto a really cool place! Their #1 draw is the fabulous bar and cocktails, followed by great staff and innovative and delicious food!

Juan was outstanding !!!! My wife and I felt welcome when we set foot there. Our server, Juan, was great !! He was very accommodating. He made us feel at home. Food was excellent ! Thank you Juan for your outstanding service !!! We will be back !
