Additionally, a man came in to make his own pizza and didn't wash his hands beforehand. I won’t be returning, as it didn't feel very hygienic or welcoming.
I had a concerning experience at this restaurant. The pizzas were made by a woman who used the back of her hand to handle the dough, without wearing any gloves. A man came in and made his own pizza without washing his hands first. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back to this place, as the cleanliness and hygiene standards were quite disappointing.
During a recent trip to Ohio to visit my bull class, my wife, a friend, and I stumbled upon this pizza place by chance. We enjoyed the pizza so much that we returned a few days later to bring some home with us. Now, every time we visit Van Wert for a bull driving show, we always make it a point to pick up a Klosterman's pizza. It's a bit greasy, but absolutely delicious, and we've even converted a few others into fans of Klosterman's. The restaurant is located in a small space that looks like it used to be a gas station. How often do you find yourself remembering the name of a small pizza joint that's 150 miles away from home? For me, this is the one I can't forget.
