Guu Kobachi - Vancouver

Fun, vibrant, electric atmosphere. Excellent Japanese food with a twist. Enjoyed the seaweed salad with tofu. Catch of the day blowtorched sashimi was very good. Black sesame ice cream topped off the meal. Not your typical Japanese restaurant, much more fun!

We regularly go to this Guu location and love it. the ambiente is great, and the staff is beautiful. Eating is always stellar. we recommend them! (favorites include taco bowl with cheese, tofu nuggets, tuna tataki, chicken carage.)

They offer a large variety of small plates (4 for $17) that are a great value. It’s largely in the salty-savoury bar snacks category but quite tasty. The staff are SUPER friendly too.
