They have a deli counter when you first walk in and you can get sandwiches (whole or half) and desserts to go or sit down to order. The custom sandwich was fresh and the pesto aioli was delicious (also available to purchase in a small jar to take home). The oriechette was so good perfectly balanced flavors with butternut squash, goat cheese, greens and a delightful pasta shape. The service was great attentive without being distracting the waiter kept our water full and even took our photo for us. There is also a small market/shop feel and they have wine, loaves of bread, jams, cheeses, buffalo milk butter, gelato, and pasta for sale. What a gem in downtown Vancouver!
Just never disappoints. Food and atmosphere are particularly authentic. The waitstaff is exceedingly knowledgeable and pleasant every single one. We have visited about six times at different times of the day/night. This place is solid. The smoked mushroom ravioli was absolutely delicious! The service was great, too. We were recommended a dry Riesling and it was just the right amount of sweetness.
