The Cascade Room - Vancouver

Random stop in as we just moved into the neighborhood. The menu is really unique for pub food. High quality and a serious effort to make good flavors. Chickpea fritters. Bomb. The burger was great! Lots of good beers on tap!

Happy hour 4 til 6. Great music. Nice atmosphere. Amazing burger. Home brewed IPA. I have been told to make this review up to 1000 characters so here it is.

A friendly well stocked bar with really friendly and chatty bar staff. It was pretty quiet when we went (Tuesday night) but open pretty late. We didn't eat, just drinks and the music selection was awesome and loud. I'll deffo return, maybe at a weekend. Keep it up!

What can we say? We were on a visit to Vancouver to see our daughter & we went to her local bar a couple of times & we decided that it was too loud & played 'weird' music. We decided that we needed a good 'base' for our visit & a new local for our daughter. This is when we found the Cascade Room and what a find, great food & drink, a really warm welcome, good music & most importantly, friendly efficient staff.An all round great place to hang out, can't wait to visit again!

Never a bad time at the Ol' Cascade Room. How could you not enjoy yourself really? Big room, that feels intimate due to the lighting. Massive board of specials, rotating taps, staff favourites and the like. I'm guilty of coming here solo and draining a few kegs, but I've also been equally at home taking a date here. The boys usually remember you, and the drop that you drink, which makes you feel like an absolute superstar. Brad, you are the epitome of barmen. Good banter, great service, laughs for days.Nothing but love for the Cascade Room.
