Service was excellent, and our server/barista split our sandwich on two plates and it honestly looked like a full serving. I am typically not a fan of cafe style food as sandwiches and paninis aren't spectacular most of the time, but I was very impressed with the flavour and texture of the turkey panini. If you're looking for a place to crack down and get down to business, this is it!

Best cafe in east van for a proffessionally served Delicious coffee made by the owner who is the nicest person around!!! Or the great hand picked wait staff! Great service and wonderful sandwiches and beautiful decor. Recently renovated and i recommend anytime for a mid afternoon drink or a good place to study in a modern setting. When i first found this cafe i went every day for more than 2 weeks!
Kings Café on Kingsway, just nine months ago, was raking in only $50/day. Do the numbers and you’ll realize they were serving a sparse crowd of around twenty per day.It just goes to show: running a café can be a precarious business, definitely no easy feat in this coffee town. How to keep up? By innovating and evolving. And in this case, it’s about approaching your business as more than a no-frills coffee shop.
Gone by this place quite a few times and noticed that it isn't super crowded, so I thought I'd give it a try and do some homework while I'm there. I went there on a Monday afternoon and there weren't too many people inside. I liked the seating they have. They have large tables, some taller tables, tables by the window, and tables along a wall with a long bench. I noticed they have outlets in quite a few places. So this is definitely a good place for students. The atmosphere is nice with some music in the background and lots of natural light coming through the large window. <br/ <br/ I had their mocha with almond milk. I was really happy they had almond milk as a dairy alternative. My drink also came with a small milk chocolate. I thought it was a cute little detail. I also had their turkey panini. It had cheese, lettuce, cucumber, and pickles. Even came with a little ramekin of Chicago mix popcorn. I thought everything that I tried tasted good. <br/ <br/ The people here are friendly and the atmosphere is nice. It's a great place to get some work down especially because it isn't super crowded. I'm not sure about weekends though. But I'll definitely be back.
