If you want to order a drink with it, then you need for every paper cup I think it's 25c pro. When I get to the counter, I can't sign up to their chintzy coupon app and the staff can't enter manually, while at McDs and the others they simply automatically give the offer to you when you ask for it. While I wait there, a young guy got his job and then changed his mind from here and they wanted additional payment I think it was 15 cents for a paper bag. Of course he had no money on him, but they didn't want to give him a free bag and tell him he could pay the 15c by using his credit card. Did the world get crazy or what? From him he trembled with his burger and fries in one hand and his drink in the other, absolutely furious with the politics as I AND he had to pay HAD for the drinking cup. Someone in the A
I rarely eat fast food. I like to cook my own food most of the time and when I go, I try to choose places where I can get good food that I don't make at home. But there are times when I'm on... they're going and need something fast. I recently got a voucher for A
It's always nice to find an A W, I was shocked how big the dining room was. We didn't have to wait long for our order, the cashier was friendly and running out.
We haven't been in an A W restaurant for many years because we just don't like to eat animals that are slaughtered just to fill our bells. When a friend told us about the afterlife meat burger, we were very surprised....And we tried it and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! While we are against the killing of cows, we have tasted the taste of burgers a little, but the afterlife meat was so much better than any meatburger everywhere. So Kudos to A W, just want to get rid of all dead petburgers. That's so much better!
I’ve been to this A&W location a number of times over the years. Located in the Pacific Centre food court, it has proven to be a quick and reliable lunch option. The staff have always been fairly good, though they do seem to get confused...on occasion – especially if they’re new hires and dealing with the crazy lunch rush for the first time. Besides that, though, I’ve never had any significant issues. To be fair, I should emphasize that staff getting frazzled during the hectic lunch rush is VERY rare. Typically, they remain calm, cool and collected through it all and often serve you with a courteous smile. And what’s even more impressive is that the food orders – at least during the times I’ve visited – never get botched up. I think that’s quite the impressive feat, especially since the Pacific Centre food court can be like a mad house at the best of times. FOOD: 4/5 SERVICE: 4/5 VALUE: 5/5 RECOMMENDATION: While I will continue to disagree with the A&W TV ads that proclaim these burgers to be the “best in Canada” (they aren’t), I will acknowledge that they are consistent and of good quality. To my eye that’s what you want in a good chain restaurant – consistency right across the board. So, if you find yourself in the Pacific Centre mall and what a cheap, but tasty, snack treat item then this A&W is good. I suggest trying the chubby chicken strips or the buddy burgers. Yum!
