This restaurant has a definite pub atmosphere and is located in the casino. The food was decent overall and had a good taste, with a lot of variety, but the plating and presentation were basic. The happy hour was fantastic, with $5 beers. Our server was outstanding, very attentive and friendly! She deserves 5 stars.
The service issues of the past seem to have disappeared. This is a great pre-game venue with a wide selection for everyone. I still swear the cauliflower bites are the best in the city. It's become my new go-to eatery for any event that takes me to Rogers Arena or BC Place.
This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. Our table did not have any napkins or utensils, so we had to ask for them after our food arrived. The waitress only brought 2 sets of fork and knife and 3 napkins for a table of five, making it difficult to get their attention for more. I ended up eating my calamari with my hands because of this. Other members of my party had to wait a while for more forks, as they had ordered the prime rib. We had to use our own napkins, as we had brought some with us. The waitress initially did not honor the prime rib special deal until we showed her the deal on the Parq website. After much back and forth, she finally made it work and brought a glass of wine to the person who had shown her the website. The other two members of our group had to ask for their beers. The prime rib special is not new at BC Kitchen, and we have had it many times before. The staff should have been more knowledgeable about it.
Tasty food, decent service, reasonable prices and lots of TVs for watching sports
