You might call me cheap, but you would be right.
I'm so thankful for this place being open 24/7!! Plus, they serve a wide variety of desserts and pastries, and even have loaves of bread for sale.
I love this place, it looks so nice and inviting with the couches and tables and all the delicious food on display. I also love how the coffee options are pretty exotic, like I had the Raspberry Mocha and it was fantastic! The desserts or so good as well, and they aren't too expensive. If you find yourself eating dinner around Robson street, it's so convenient to just take a walk, check out some of the clothing stores and then go to Breka for dessert. And since it's open 24 hours, you can also either do some all night studying here, or come here for a late night snack after going out drinking with your friends. It's perfect!
The location of this restaurant is perfect. During the summer, you can be right in the middle of all the action on Robson Street while still finding a nice corner to enjoy your cup of coffee. The coffee is nothing special, but it's decent.
Breka is a European bakery with multiple locations throughout Vancouver. My friends and I visited the downtown Vancouver spot over the weekend to catch up. We had heard that the place can get quite crowded and finding a seat might be a challenge, but we were lucky to find a few empty tables. The bakery also had a large communal table on the North side. The space was well-lit with plenty of natural light coming in through the large windows, giving it a spacious and inviting feel.
