When you go to pay, hit the #5 Other option when it asks you to pay as there is a Cactus Club option for $6. Better then paying the $14 if you are staying more than an hour!
In Vancouver on holiday and everyone reccomends the Cactus Club so we head there for lunch. We have to queue for thirty minutes so we walk around before we're buzzed in. Get a great view of the ocean, however Vancouver was incredibly smoky that week due to the forest fires so it was heavily limited visiblity. The entire window is exposed so there's a nice breeze, but that comes with a lot of engine noise and smell which might make a few people annoyed. Our watier was pretty freindly and the food was quick. However, the food was pretty standard, under par for where you are as well. All of our meals were average, two of the meals were made incorrectly, and they all tasted ok at best. When the bill came to over 250$ we were amazed, every meal was 30$ or more which was ridiculous. Looking at the chefs, they were all basically kids in college or just out. You can't possibly charge these prices for the food these guys cooked, it was insane.
That was really great. the service is very friendly and by the way, also very attractive. would be going back immediately. good appetit.
We had excellent service and the chicken wings and veggie burgers wee great. Treated myself to a speciality cocktail on a very hot day - Frose - rose wine blended with ice and fresh strawberries ????Hit the spot on a very hot and hazy day
After our AlaskanCruise, we stop back at our hotel and decided to grab lunch before heading out to explore Robson Street and ended up at the Cactus Club Cafe. Great choice as recommended by our Concierge. They had a Sunday Bellini and draft beer Fun Day Bar Special that was great! Bellini's for $5 CAD and beer for $4 CAD, how can you beat that. We ordered Jambalaya and a Burger as we sipped our drinks. The burger was big, juicy and awesome and the Jambalaya was just the right spiciness, not to hot. The brown rice was great as well.We sere so stuffed after eating here that we had to walk for the next two hours just to burn off that great lunch. We sat in a booth by the bar and the service was fabulous. The wait staff was very friendly. Loved it. Enjoy!
