Cibo Trattoria - Vancouver

We booked reservations on open table and arrived to find a closed restaurant at 7:15 PM on a Saturday....

This is my second visit. First visit was equally a bad experience, poor service and the only people in the restaurant. I thought I would give it another chance. The appetizers were okay, beef tartar and burrata- nothing special. Service was very poor, didn’t even have cutlery to eat with, no drinks until we were ready to leave, one item didn’t even make it to the table. Our entrees were very bland, didn’t care to eat them. Went elsewhere immediately afterwards.

Food was underwhelming. Portions were tiny for the price. We were looking for some good pasta for dinner, and it just wasn’t what we were expecting.

Had a good meal for two. There was no one in the restaurant when we went there, which was great. I really enjoyed their restaurant ambience and we had a awesome server too.

Went for brunch. Service was EXCELLENT. Sebastian from Germany is one of the best servers we've had in a long time kind, accommodating, polite, perfect timing.
