Our dishes of wonton soup (golf ball sized wontons), Sweet 'n 'sour Stir fried noodles with beef slices) Seafood congee were delish . I will definitely return again for another visit to sample the other items on the menu. Good service from the ladies working this past Saturday afternoon on April 21st, 2023. Fantastic food.2nd Visit Sept. 10, 2023 A few of my girlfriends I lunched again were gladly pleased with the quality of the food/dishes we ordered. Kudos to the chef as the beef tendons in our noodle soup was delish. The salted fish chicken niblet fried rice, lo bak gau stir fried garlic Chinese brocolli were prepared deliciously. My visiting out of town girl friend loved the flavorful dishes. Parking is available in the parkade. Lots of room.
Had the dumplings in soup. Counted 10 very large shrimp dumplings and they tasted fresh and perfectly salted. I was amazed how much I got for $11. My friend had the beef congee and we shared a steamed daikon. This was 4 large pieces for $6. This place is a hidden gem in Tinseltown and is a genuine Hong Kong style restaurant. Service was great. Place was not very busy on BC Day. Price is very reasonable and I will definitely be back. Park for free for 3 hours downstairs.Went back and ordered take out dishes. They were quick and very helpful in packing it in my own bag. The prices online does not reflect the new increased price so make sure to ask when ordering.Pan fried garlic tofu is delicious! Light inside and crunchy outside. The spicy coated deep fried eggplant was also so good. I ate these in the car on the drive home. I suggest eating these two dishes in the restaurant to get the best out of them or they’d be soggy if it sits in a closed container.House special chow mein, preserved fish and diced chicken fried rice, mix mushroom with snow peas, sauté prawn and scallop were also delicious. I can’t detect any msg and it was lightly seasoned.Curry chicken and beef brisket with lettuce were a little on the sweet side.Overall I’m very happy to find this place. I’ve passed it many times over the years until my friend suggest I try their giant dumplings. Although this is in a mall I find the quality better than the restaurant near my house. This place is reminiscent of a bygone time when there were a few good Chinese restaurants to eat in Chinatown.
#58 vegetable soup was really good the food came quick and very nice people good service. I award this the highest award I can bestow a 10/10 and a 5 star
Very traditional Chinese food. Good taste. But it is common food. Not expensive.Service good.Food good.Compare cost. All is good. You have to try it.
NEVER VISIT. A lot more options if you drive 5 minutes away. I was craving BBQ pork called cha siu for dinner, not like the crispy skin type of pork. Anyways, the worst ever. Honestly, I think I have reached rock bottom or bbq pork cha siu ever. In addition, there was for some reason they added MSG to it. They added so much that it woke me up in the middle of the night. If you 've had MSG food, you 'd know what feeling I 'm talking about. I will NEVER come back to this place again. The place is just poor service, no greeting when I arrived even for take out. I was watching staff serve . It was a pathetic amount of effort
