We frequent this cafe almost weekly because the menu has a good range of selections from local Hong Kong dishes to western influenced dishes. The dishes have been consistent in quality and serving size is reasonable. The fried noodle dishes are generally all good. And it goes for the Thai fried rice with a fried egg is recommended. The pork cutlet in curry and rice is also very good. They have a daily combo set of Chinese dishes at $15+ is very good value. The hot and sour soup is another favourite. Typically of a HKG restaurant the dishes come with a hot drink ( HKG style coffee or tea). A good size restaurant with probably 50+ seating. Pleasant and clean. A family restaurant no doubt. The waitresses try to smile but somehow appear unhappy but not rude. Parking available at the back but limited in numbers. Ample parking on the street. Always busy during lunch hours and food after 2pm. Pricing is reasonable and acceptable by most standards - quality of dishes - consistency - serving size - extras like drink - restaurant seating - restaurant ambience and service staff. Try this restaurant !
It has one of the most extensive menu choices compared to other Hong Kong Style restaurants. Very tasty meals but you will get thirsty after. Best russian borscht soup in Greater Vancouver.
Have been to this cafe many times for breakfast on weekends. The food is ok, price is reasonable...they do charge extras if you start changing the items. Depending on your expectations, the service may not be up to par, but definitely much better than what you get in a typical cafe in Hong Kong.
The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. However, I wish they had cautioned us that we ordered far too much food - 3 of us ordered enough food for at least 8-10 people! The entrees should definitely be shared by 2-3 people. That said, it was very tasty, great pricing and a friendly and welcoming environment. We would definitely go again.
Copa Cafe does set meals, with a soup, main dish and a Hong Kong style tea or coffee. The portions are of good size. I always have the baked pork chop with rice. Its good for quick cheap eats.
