Deja Brew Coffeehouse Fresh Food Cafe

I recently had surgery nearby and after two disappointing meals at my hotel, I decided to try something more appetizing. On the first day, I tried their baked mac and cheese. It was a bit dry, but considering I purchased it for dinner hours after it was originally served for lunch, the effort was commendable and the price was reasonable. The next day, I had a croissant for breakfast which was delicious. I returned the following day and ordered the chili to take back to my hotel for dinner. Once again, the price was fair, the service was excellent, and the chili was really tasty. The ginger cookie for dessert was the highlight of my day, it was the best I've ever had! I also tried the sausages and perogies, which were outstanding – loaded with flavor and reminiscent of those made by my Ukrainian friends. The next morning, I enjoyed another croissant and it did not disappoint. The only issue was that the Chai tea was a bit weak, probably due to the single tea bag provided. Overall, I never felt the need to try another restaurant, as the homemade food from this place was half the price and twice the quality compared to the overpriced hotel restaurant.

I and friends came to work on this place and really liked it! Window side seats with high chairs and enough plugs for laptop / phones. the staff was super friendly and eating and drinks were good and at a reasonable price. to work here again!

A hidden gem in Vancouver!! The mocha was really nice, the food was delicious and cheap and the service was fantastic! Will definitely come back!

Wonderful little cafe. Amazing ham and cheese croissants and cookies.

Ordered a cappuccino and a medium roast drip. Yes, indeed, I drink a lot of coffee. Cappuccino was nicely balanced, good foam, not to hot, not too much milk in the espresso. Drip coffee was pretty standard. Great interior, and the baked goods looked great (but alas, I was not grabbing anything). Would try again.
