Fortune Express Restaurant - Vancouver

Perhaps it was my mistake to search for lunch at 3pm and expect it to be hot and fresh. You may have better luck coming earlier in the day, but to be honest, I've had better food at food festivals around town.

The food at this Chinese fast food buffet is good, with your typical selection. However, what bothers me is that the prices are inconsistent. Depending on which cashier I go to, I have been charged the correct price or almost a dollar more than the price shown on the sign. This inconsistency leaves me feeling unsure about their pricing and makes me uncertain about how much I will be charged each visit.

The dry garlic pork is my new favorite food on this planet, and this particular location has the sweetest staff ever. Showing up right near closing, and they offered to make it fresh while we wait. The hours the mall gives them makes it hard to visit, but I gladly go on my lunch break 2 hours into a full shift just to experience this wonderful place.

We ordered lunch for our office from Fortune Express and it was outstanding. Sandy was a delight to speak with on the phone. I told her our preferences and budget, and she provided us with numerous fantastic options to choose from. Our employees thoroughly enjoyed their meals and are already requesting to order again. We will definitely be ordering from Fortune Express again. The service, food, and communication were all top-notch. Thank you, Sandy and family, for a great experience. 10/10.

Don’t understand the low ratings because I honestly really love the food. I eat here at least once a week for lunch. Flavour is good, portion is huge, good variety of options. This is my favourite food court chinese food place.
