Gallery Café - Vancouver

One of my favorite go to spots for a fast and healthy lunch with an amazing view of downtown vancouver.

Once an elegant, mid-city, lunch destination, the museum over the decades has finally stooped so low that they are serving spoiled food and stacking

We chose this place to meet a friend. It was coffee time and that what I had. So I can not really comment on food, except the sandwiches looked OK. The waitress interrupted conversation at least 5 times. I am a grown boy. If I want something, I ask. Will not be back, even the location is great, there was some decent jazz trio with good singer and pleasant wind cooling the warm afternoon temperatures.The glass of wine seems overpriced at $9.00.

The food is good (cafe style), and the ambiance is wonderful. It is a real oasis in a busy downtown. We visited about 3 times in a two-week period and every time the food was delicious. The bread pudding with chunks of ginger was yummy. You do not have to pay art gallery admission to enter the cafe.
