Ken's Chinese - Vancouver

I have been to this restaurant for many many times already.

Food was over cooked and greasy for my taste. Much better with our beer to wash it down.

Average Chinese restaurantNothing too outstanding but it's better than others We ordered their well-known crab covered with egg yolk.

We were invited to join a group, hosted by an Asian couple who LOVE this place. Since we were a large group, they suggested that each person/couple select a dish.... While a couple of the dishes were typical of what you'd find in a North American Chinese restaurant, most were not at all familiar. Most of the staff didn't speak much English and were not able to explain the differences between the dishes. Overall it was quite disappointing. I doubt we'll be back.

On invitation, no photos as not seem appropriate. The crab "Golden Dungess crab" was delicious. I remembered having something similar in Chinese but with pumpkins instead, same delicious taste but of course with lot cheaper ingredients
