King's Chinese Cuisine - Vancouver

King's Chinese Cuisine is yet another good dim sum place in a city full of dim sum places. The only complaints I had are that the mustard was too runny and they don't give you enough Worcestershire sauce with the beef balls. Also, the W/C facilities are down a flight of stairs and therefore not wheelchair accessible. Not recommended for anyone who has too much trouble walking!

All of that ranting was leading up to some of the best and most affordable dim sum I have ever had. The boyfriend and I met his aunt and her boyfriend there for lunch. When they got there (I was a little late) there wasn't an empty table in the place, and

Popular restaurant serving ok food. $60 for 4 of us and we had leftovers. Not a fancy restaurant and very reasonable in price. The dim sum is not small and delicate let's say it that way. You mark down what you want and a couple of times they may walk up to your table with prepared food as well. The service was good. I liked the tofu with shrimp, spareribs and beef and rice noodles dishes this time.

This is an old and very popular Vancouver Chinese restaurant. Because the food is so good and the prices very reasonable it is usually crowded but that only, in my opinion, adds to the atmosphere.

Saw their advertisement on newspaper and went there hoping for some good food. Place is very small and dirty, only one waitress plus the owners serving customers. The female owner has no customer service and has an angry look on her face, she looks annoyed every time she serves the customers. Food was tasteless and below par. Find another place if you are looking for good food and a little bit of friendly customer service!
