It's a shame she's one of them. Dim-Summe-Spots in the interior of vancouver. no one should be so rude for the guests, and they should be named and presented to the public so that no one has to suffer again while paying the restaurant great money. aaron and eddie are the two names I remember. Andrew, the general manager, please talk to their staff and stop ruining the pictures of the Chinese restaurant food and drink industry.
Eating was ok, nothing special, service was terrible, not going there! I do not understand that a first-class hotel like fairmont can suggest such a place. vancouver has decidedly better Chinese restaurants!
We came with a reservation for 1 to kirin and had to wait 30 minutes until our table is ready. bella at the reception was rude and had no concern to honour our reservation. when we tried to ask for our reservation, they would run away and ignore our asking. but eating was good and lewis was very nice.
I read the reviews on Trip Advisor and it was recommended by one of the staff at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver. This is a strange location, as it seem like it's located in the lobby of a building. You have climb steep stairs...to get into the restaurant. We ordered #9 Sliced Beef Shank, #69 Hot Sour Soup, #85 Chef's Special Deep Fried Chicken in Soy Sauce, #137 Stir Fried String Bean with Chopped Garlic in Spicy Minced Pork Sauce, and #164 Deep Fried Silver Thread Roll. They meal came one by one in random order, and they never gave us #164 Deep Fried Silver Thread Roll, so we asked to cancel it and just pay our bill, since we ate all the food when the Roll should have been part of our meal. They seemed annoyed but gave us the bill without the Roll. Our bill came out to $118.13 and the portions were small. I still gave them a 15% tip so the entire bill came out to $146.86. Not sure that I would come back here again.
Great restaurant for Dim Sum. Though we prefer Dim Sum restaurants with carts going to each table, this was very good. They keep their tea on a burner so it stays warm! The waitress asked if we needed help with ordering. Great customer service! We...ordered the number of recommended dishes and were quite happy. The main dishes other tables ordered looked delicious. We made a reservation for dinner!
