Very disappointing serviceYesterday(February 26th), we came here for brunch around 1:30 pm. The restaurant was not very crowded because it was a weekday and windy outside.Our waitress was friendly, but unfortunately, no one came to check on our table after we were seated. We had to look around and wait for our drinks, which took quite a while.The most disappointing aspect was that a large group of about six people who arrived after us had already received their orders and were eating. However, our dishes did not arrive even after 20–30 minutes. So, I approached a lady who appeared to be a supervisor, “a brunette wearing a black jacket”, to ask about our table's orders. Unfortunately, her response was quite upsetting. She mentioned that it usually takes time for them to prepare a dish with a different name than what was ordered, which was not the case.I would have appreciated if she had honestly informed me that there was a delay or if she would double-check our table's order first. However, her attitude was disappointing, especially when she claimed that our food would arrive soon.Our brunch was served “forty minutes”later.The large group of patrons behind us had already left the restaurant before our table was even halfway through our meal. I felt hurt by this experience. Additionally, when I asked for the location of the restroom, “a woman in a black jacket” gave me a gloomy look and displayed unprofessional behavior.Although our brunch with friends was enjoyable, her attitude lingered in our minds throughout the day, which was unpleasant. While I hope this was not the case, I sincerely hope that our experience was not influenced by any discriminatory behavior.Well,,Several other customers have already reported similar issues on this day, indicating that there is a need for improvement in the professionalism and service standards of the restaurant.
Disappointing service, overly hyped brunch spot. Went in for brunch and our group waited over an hour for a table. Not only was it extremely windy that day, you will have to wait outside as there is no room to sit and wait inside. Their heater lamp almost knocked us out from the wind! After a long COLD wait outside, we were seated on the patio, and again we were very cold. It wasn't that busy by the time we were seated, as things were winding down. However, our server Maddy was extremely slow. She didn't ask for our drinks order initially so we got them after our meals had arrived. Long wait for (mediocre) food, drinks, and the bill. Save yourself the wait disappointment go to OEB instead.
I think maybe we got some bad luck but we were quite disappointed in our visit. The atmosphere is great and staff was super nice. Service though was very very slow, and our coffees weren’t even hot.By far the most disappointing part was the food. It presents extremely well and looks amazing, but it was honestly quite bad. I am not very picky with food at all, and am easily satisfied, but it was so bland I couldn’t even finish it. I was with a big party and everyone said the same thing. Upsetting because it looks so good!!!
Beautiful interior, great food, and best part it's pet friendly.
