Despite that, the reasonably priced coffees and cocoas, along with tasty baked goods on the side, make it a desirable place to visit.
The crepes are bursting with flavor, just like the freshly brewed coffee. The ambiance is slightly dated but cozy. The natural pineapple juice was delightful!
We stopped by this restaurant for a snack. I ordered a feta cheese and spinach crepe, which was served on a slate along with a small side salad with a delicious sweet sauce. Though I enjoyed the crepe, I wished it had been hotter and had more filling. My cappuccino was good. I appreciated the cozy atmosphere and layout of the cafe, as well as the strong wifi connection. I would definitely return and next time, ask for a crepe with more filling. A friend who frequents the restaurant mentioned that they are willing to accommodate her request for extra filling. In total, my cappuccino, crepe, and my wife's green tea came to around C$15.
I have visited this restaurant with friends three times and it is just okay. The service is alright, nothing exceptional. The food quality is decent. I had a sweet crepe that was tiny and very sweet, almost too much to finish. Another time I got a taro bubble tea that was too watery and lacking in pearls at the bottom.
The waffles with whipped cream and maple syrup for under $6 are a fantastic deal, and the juices for under $5 are also a good option. Paying $22 for lunch for two is reasonable in today's economy.
