Attracted by the purity of the interior design we were warmly welcomed by the staff of this owner driven restaurant. We decided for three very different types of pancake dishes and the Lamp Bolognese Spagetti. All were very delicious and to the point. It was an awesome dinner! Thank you!The photo shows my pancake with pulled pork topped by a spicy pineapple-mango sauce . Just great!
Not good - looking for just drinks - greeted in a somewhat cold manner and asked to wait for a table to be made ready. The place was almost empty with 7 tables free but uncleared from the last customers. The server then proceeds to continue to just type in bill information from a previous client whilst we wait for somebody to just clear one of the tables. There was also a couple in front of us also waiting - after some time, they just gave up and left. we then did the same. I actually decided to explain why we were leaving and the person just carried on typing - they did not even bother to look up to listen to me asking why somebody could not be bothered just to clear some empty mugs on one of the tables - extremely rude
When the house takes prideful effort to know where every protein is sourced you know only good things will hit the plate. They can tell you what farm Mr. Pig and Ms. Chook had their last meal before becoming your first. Pulled Pork Bennie takes details from the bottom up with house made English muffin. No more rock hard piece of bread cardboard to slam your knife into running the delicate topping above. Instead this soft pillow of muffin elevates the next layer of pulled pork yumminess. And this piggy does not try to steal the show with a overpowering BBQ. It is a melange of sweet and spice and slight smokiness waiting for you to bust a yolk of golden (of course free range) ooziness. And the hollandaise brings everything home into one cohesive thought of breaky. Now must try the Fried Chicken to see/taste/experience on your own. Brilliant Mr. or Ms. Chef! We are humbled to partake your food!
Don't leave Vancouver until you've eaten at Ritual. The staff are fantastic and the food amazing. My husband had a yam smothered in spicey pulled pork and I had French toast drizzled with lemon curd and raspberries. One of the best meals of our trip.
We visited here for a wonderful leisurely breakfast! So creative, prepared piping hot and the wait Staff were amazing! We each tried something different! Tasty, and wonderful! Excellent fresh brewed coffee! Would recommend for anyone wanting a great breakfast experience! Prices are higher, but the food was delicious! Clean, friendly and would try an evening if visiting again!
