I will always remember to visit this restaurant as my parents love it. Yesterday, I went there with them for lunch. The noodles and 7 Bark meats are highly recommended from the menu. I had tried the 7 Bark long ago and there were many other delicious foods to try, like grilled meat. We each ordered a little Bun Bo Hue for $12.50 each. The soup was not too salty and tasted even better with some chili oil. The portion size was smaller than before, and we noticed that some ingredients were missing, like pork blood and pork feet. I used to enjoy exploring this place regularly, but the reduced portion size has turned me off a bit.

The steamed castors were decent, and the garnel and pork dishes were also satisfactory. We opted for two of the seven meat dishes, as suggested by our waitress, and found the portions to be quite generous - perhaps too much for our group of seven. The meal included three different types of sausage, congee, bark meat balls, bark meat salad, and raw beef, which we had to roll ourselves in rice paper. This DIY approach made for a messy and average tasting experience. The service was also lacking in quality.

The best part is their kitchen, with pho aromas wafting over Nanaimo on cold and rainy days. Service is outstanding.

I have been visiting this restaurant occasionally for over 5 years now. The staff is consistently friendly and the pho soup is absolutely delicious! The food is always fresh and the service is top-notch!
