Sushi By Yuji - Vancouver

Probably one of my favorite sushi joints in vancouver. they love the washabi special! they are always super friendly with great eating.

Have exceeded my expectations! each piece tastes amazing <3 even the ingwer and wasabi was all made and cut into house!

With distance the best sushi in vancouver. super cozy place and staff is very friendly. since they open up and continue all the time

Time for some wasabi enters our food criticism – sushi by yuji. melody chose this restaurant because it is cheap, and the ingredients are super fresh. is more important, we are here for some egg pornos!. sushi by yuji is a hidden gem in nanaimo street. although it is small, they serve some of the best sushi in the kensington area. we ordered again some of the daily specials, as well as the signature nigiri sushi. I tried only two sushi, aji (Spanish mackerel) nigiri and ika mentaiko gunkan because I was full after two restaurants lol!

What I do recommend the most is the negitoro with egg (raw quail egg) that was quite yummy actually!Overall good average kind of place. Tried out a variety of items, but for the quality, quantity, and pricing, it’s just okay compared to what you can get elsewhere. The maki is smaller than other places and it just seemed like they tried to cut costs everywhere.
