We usually dine at Sushi Garden in Richmond, but this time we decided to visit the location closest to us. The staff was friendly and accommodated our group of five by pushing three tables together. We were all craving sashimi, so we opted for the Love Boat, which offered a wide variety of high-quality fish that we all enjoyed. Alongside the sashimi, we also ordered deliciously light and crispy shrimp and vegetable tempura. For one member of our group who doesn't eat raw fish, the chicken katsu and salad were a hit. We started our meal with Agedashi tofu and Takoyaki appetizers. Overall, our Sunday dinner at the restaurant was fantastic and we were too busy enjoying our meal to take any pictures.
The sushi at this restaurant is really good, but the prices have been increasing recently. The staff is always friendly, but it used to be known for offering good sushi at affordable prices. Now, the prices are a bit higher for good sushi that is not quite excellent.
I ordered a sushi and sashimi combo and was very impressed with the quick service and excellent quality of all the dishes! The sashimi was incredibly fresh and delicious. The servers were friendly and efficient. I can't wait to visit again!
Haven’t been to Sushi Garden in years. They used to be known for their massive portions and reasonable prices. Their thick cut sashimi still lives up to the hype but with inflation their prices have gone up quite a bit. Service was super fast. I think we received our platter in less than 5 mins after ordering! A good option in the area but I don’t think I will be rushed to go back.
