Sylvia's Restaurant & Lounge

This is the absolute BEST place I have ever stayed, the room was great, ocean view too! The restaurant is SO nice, our server Shayne was just fabulous, taking pics for us, even took a selfie with us, he was so patient with all of us crazy ol ladies and such fun. I took a microwave popcorn down to the desk to use the microwave and the nice guy there said they would make it and deliver it... but... it never got delivered,, our guess is someone smelled it popping and stole it and ate it LOL,,,, Thanks for a really nice stay, ps, the menu and the food was just amazing as well.

Excellent salmon burger with fresh cut fries salad. Good selection of craft beer on tap. Great spot to grab a bite a drink after watching a beautiful sunset.

My go-to place in Vancouver. Great food and terrific staff. Sorry about the broken wine glass on my way out.

Love this hotel, exceptionally well located at English Bay near Stanley Park, the staff are very welcoming and helpful, apparently in years gone by it was a favourite of Errol Flynn, if he was still alive today I believe it still would be, lovely old world ambience, recommend highly

Love the Sylvia. Turn of the century building...must like historical properties. Hospitable, friendly staff. Great restaurant and bar, with music several nights a week. Literally steps away from English Bay, the Seawall, Stanley Park, restaurants, shops, gyms, grocery and liquor stores. Multiple transportation route access. What more can you ask for? And great weekly and monthly rates over the Winter when the Artic Vortex drives you out of Ontario.
