Thai Express Ottawa

My go-to takeout place from Harbour Centre food court. Love the vegetarian options. Their pad thai fried rice are great, not to mention, beautiful packaging!

A terrible service. I was the first costumer and ordered padhai to go. they probably thought because I was in a hurry, I'll eat it later. However, I have actually opened the box to find that it was only half as full. in the rule are parts at this place a sweat. go to another place.

I used to like Thai express food, unfortunately quality of the food is really bad now days, specially in this specific location. I have been going to this location for two years and the service has been okay for me. but I decided after last week that I will not go to this place due to the food quality. do something about the food quality soon in order for the business to survive. March 3rd, 2020 my order was taken at 1:10pm and I had to wait until I had to remind my order was not completed. I said my number was not called and then one of the cook took the receipt from me. No apologies nothing. My order was ready at 1:34pm. My last time at this location. Please do not send me free coupons just take the time to train people how to do the job. Never recommend or coming back again.

Disgusting cook! I was placing my order, and noticed the cook in the back area handling a dirty mop head and a bottle of floor cleaning chemicals. As soon as my order was placed, he proceeded to handle my food order without even attempting to clean his hands or change his glove(only on one hand). I called him out on it and rinsed his hands glove and all under the water tap for 1 second and continued. I then abruptly canceled my order and remained on site to email Thai express regarding what I saw, and warned any person approaching, in which case these people all agreed it disgusting and moved on. It is quite clear wherever he is from doesn?t have the same health standards and Thai express hasn?t done their due diligence in proper training or ensuring comprehension.

Edit: after filing a complaint, head office notified Christine, the manager, and she offered me a free meal as a replacement, and apologized for my experience. It is deeply appreciated, and I will continue to choose Thai Express as my lunchtime treat : ?????????????????? The cook handed me a greasy container. It spilled everywhere. And they acted like they didn?t know what to. Shameful. If I managed this store, I would feel a deep sense of shame. Instead, the cook and the server had a little chuckle about it. Appalling behaviour. Well never come to this location again.
